45. Der müde Tod (1921)

Odd. The film left me cold and I'm struggling to understand just why. It was beautifully shot and there was a deal of exotic stuff happening to keep one interested, yet the actors failed to deliver a full show. Usually even just one actor can carry a film and keep you hanging on, but I couldn't find anyone to sympathize with in this one.
The story was similar to that in Das Wachsfigurenkabinett (1924) .
