60. Don Juan (1926)

I watched this primarily because I knew Nigel De Brulier would be in it. Little did I know that he didn't appear in the film until the last 20 minutes or so. But it was well worth the wait, because that lord truly delivered, he played a madman and really threw himself into it. What a beauty.

John George !!! He was so good in The Unknown

John Barrymore (44) played a double role, first as Don Juan's father (pictured here) and then as Don Juan

Philippe De Lacy (9) played Don Juan as a child

Mary Astor (20) played the leading lady, Adriana

Estelle Taylor (32) played Lucrezia Borgia.
She looked so much like a former girlfriend of mine that it was spooky

Finally !
Nigel (49) made an entrance

Don Juan wore some ill fitting gear

Nigel's pretty paws

46. The Unknown (1927)

I wanted something exciting and stimulating. I got that, you always get that with Lon.

Lon (44) as Alonzo The Armless

Joan Crawford (22) as Nanon Zanzi

John George (29) was brilliant as Cojo

Nothing prepared me for this :

I had to rewind this scene a few times to get enough of it.
And now I have to take back something I said in my review of The Thief of Bagdad, about muscular people being unattractive... Because the sight of Lon's back and arms blew my mind. He was so beautiful.

Norman Kerry (33) played Malabar the Mighty
